1905 death date and location is from copy of death certificate which showed him as a journey man nail maker living at 12 Park Lane, Aston Manor. Informant was his daughter, M. Hudson living at 14 Tenly Road, Moseley, Birmingham. Daughter Elizas Millie Bayliss married a Henry C. Hudson in 1898 and may be the M. Husdon informant.

1901 census shows him as age 45 living with his wife and children at 12 Park Lane, Aston Manor. He is a nail maker. 1901 census also shows his mother, Jane (Ashford) Bayliss, living at 54 Upper Sutton St., Aston Manor, as a widow with her adult children.

1891 census shows him age 36 (born 1855) a nail maker living with his wife and family at 10 Park Lane, Aston, Warwick Co. This census adds the children Ada E. age 8 and Thomas L. age 2. In this census his birth place changed to Birmingham from Aston.

1886 birth certificate for his daughter, Jane Louisa Baylis, also shows the address of 10 Park Lane, Aston, Warwick Co.
