Deacon William Gaylord

(Abt 1590 - 20 Jul 1673)

Came to America on the "Mary and John" which sailed from Plymouth, England on 20 March 1630 with Captain Squeb. After a violent storm on the passage they arrived in Massachusetts Bay. The captain not knowing the way to the Charles River, left them on Nantasket Point.
