Samuel Franklin Smith.
After fourteen years of widowhood, Sarah married secondly Harry Holden, a widower, on 30 January 1842 in Whiting, Vermont.
Sarah Bresee Smith Holden died at seventy-two years of age on 10 October 1867 in Shrewsbury, Rutland county, Vermont. She was buried at Meeting House Cemetery, Pittsford, Rutland county, Vermont. [1
