NewEnglandAncstors.org online probate record of Fairfield Co., CT 1704-1757: "Hurlbutt, Gideon, late of Fairfield, will dated June 13, 1745, probated Mch. 4, 1757, mentioned his daughters Adra, Mary wife of Nathan Gray, Rebecka Gorham, Martha wife of David Lyon, Abigail, Eunice, Elizabeth and Margaret, sons Gideon, Nathaniel, and John, all minors, and granddaughter Elizabeth Osborn. Executors Joseph Wakeman, and Ray sons Gideon and Nathaniel. Witnesses David Burr, Jr., John Smedley, and Sarah Burr, page 448. Inventory taken Apl. 25, 1757, by John Andrews and Thomas Lash, and filed Apl. 28, 1757, page 544". Note the relationship established of granddaughter Elizabeth Osborn to grandfather of Gideon Hurlbutt. Sarah is not mentioned therefore she may be dead by 1745, the date to this will.
Death date based on birth of last child, second marriage of her husband assuming she died and he remarried and the fact she was not mentioned in her father's will dated 13 June 1745 shown above.
