1642 marriage per page IV of Appendix of "Titus Family in American" by Dorothy M. Titus dated July 1943: the marriage of John Biglo and Mary Warren was the first marriage to appear on the Watertown, MA town records. They had a family of 13 children.
In Dr. Henry Bond's "Genealogies of the Families & Descendants of the Early Settlers" published 1855 shows the name as Biglow, Biglo and Bigulah. John Bigelow, a blacksmith, of Watertown, took the oath of fidelity, 1652 and was selectman 1665, 1670, 1671. He married 30 Oct 1642, Mary Warren. She died 19 Oct 1691 and he then married Sarah Bemis. He died 14 July 1703 at age 86.

With these alterations, Somerby thus claimed that Francis was a son of the Baguley family of Wrentham, and therefore also claimed that the baptism of John, son of Randle and Jane Baguley, recorded 16 Feb 1616/17 in Wrentham, must also belong to the New England settler.
