The Biographical and Portrait Cyclopedia of Cambria County, Pennsylvania in a biographical article for his son, William R. Williams, gives Robert's date of birth as 28 September 1796 and his date of death as 24 April 1869. This corresponds with his age in the 1850 and 1860 censuses. His will was written on 9 April 1869 and probated on 30 April 1869. His age of 72 years, 6 months, and 26 days on Find A Grave corresponds to the above dates with a difference of only one day. However, his dates of birth and death are incorrect on Find A Grave.Endnotes
