Military
According to the History of Indiana County by Arms and White, "B. F. Rowland, sergeant, wounded at Fair Oaks, prisoner three months, killed at Spottsylvania." According to index card at Pennsylvania Archives for him, he reenlisted 20 December 1863 and was killed at Wilderness, Virginia where he is buried.Endnotes
