John Zuck's eldest son petitioned the Orphans Court in Erie County, Pennsylvania in February, 1844 to partition his father's property in Millcreek Township. The petition names his widow, his four living children, and the children of his two deceased sons. The Orphans Court divided his property into six parcels which were purchased by his four living children and the eldest child of each of his deceased sons. His living children and his deceased sons' eldest heir had their choice of parcels according to their birth order.Property
The eldest son of John Zuck, Sr. petitioned the Orphans Court in Erie County, Pennsylvania in May, 1849 to value or partition two lots that his father owned in Millcreek Township. The two lots were valued at $600 each and in 1852 his eldest son, John Zuck, Jr. assigned the lots to Laurence Leush who agreed to purchase the lots for $1200. The petition names the four living children of John Zuck, Sr. and the children of his two deceased sons as well the husbands of his daughter and granddaughters.Endnotes
