Individual Details
Josiah CLAWSON
(Abt 1770 - Aft 2 Mar 1851)
Josiah wrote his will on the 2 March 1851 but is was not probated until 12 June 1878. He left his son Miller sixty acres and his daughter Margaret thirty acres. His daughter Sallie McClaren was to receive $35 and his granddaughter Jane McClaren was also mentioned. Miller was to provide for his mother Jane and his sister Margaret as long as she was single and remained on the property.
Josiah's will was not probated until after Miller's death on 9 May 1877. Miller never married so his estate would have been divided between any surviving siblings and/or the children of his deceased siblings. The account books in Indiana County need checked to see who received Miller's estate.
