Robert Clark DONEHAY

Robert C. Donehay was sentenced to two years in the State Penitentiary on 12 November 1881 for forging pension papers. He was married to Mary Jane Repplogel, a daughter of Daniel Repplogel and Mary Helman. His mother-in-law, Mary Repplogel, received a widow's pension since her first husband, Daniel Repplogel, died in 1864 during the Civil War. She married Irwin Cooper Brady on 4 July 1879. She denied receiving any pension vouchers after her marriage to Brady and said Robert C. Donehay, her son-in-law, intercepted the vouchers and forged her signature..
