Martha Clontz was listed as Joseph Zimmer's companion in the 1920 census but was listed as his wife in the 1930 census.Death
An obituary clipped from a newspaper and found at the Jefferson County History Center in Brookville, Pennsylvania for Martha Zimmer states "She was born March 21, 1879 in Knoxdale, a daughter of Daniel and Emeline Harmon Wolfe and was married to Joseph Zimmer who died in 1961. She had been a lifelong resident of Knoxdale." There is a handwritten date on the obituary of 3 June 1962.Endnotes
