Jeremiah M. "Jerry" EMERY

Birth and death dates are from his tombstone. He gives his age as 22 years when he applied for a marriage license in 1886 which would make him born about 1864. Parents' names are given as Henry and Mary Emerick on his marriage license. The family cannot be found in the 1900 census in Jefferson County, Pennsylvania. After his wife's death in 1906, he appears in the 1910 and 1920 census with a Julia D. Davis who is his housekeeper. His three youngest children Owen, 22; Clare, 19; and Gertrude, 17 are living with their oldest sister Margaret, 26 and her husband Gerald R. Sibley in Akron, Summit County, Ohio in the 1910 census.
