Jacob Conner Wolfe, his first cousin, lived with John "Jack" Myers and his parents, John and Daisy Myers, during his freshman year in high school and attended Cherry Tree High School. Jacob Wolfe always talked fondly about the year he spent with them and the escapades he had with his cousin who was 8 years older than him.
