Notes
Birth
Although his death certificate gives his birthdate as 24 April 1894, the 1910 census gives his age as 9. This would make his birthdate about 1900-1901. This is probably the correct date since his parents were married in 1899 and do not have any children living with them in the 1900 census. The 1900 census states his mother is the mother of 0 children with 0 living. His mother was born in 1881 so she would only have been about 13 when he was born if he was born in 1894.Endnotes
