She left from Havre in France and arrived at Ellis Island in New York on 20 February 1909 on the ship Caroline. Her final destination was her brother in law Anton Levec in Eveleth, Minnesota.She returned to Slovenia in 1914 where her daughter Margaret was born. She then returned to the United States arriving at Ellis Island in New York on 15 August 1915 on the ship Rotterdam. She applied for a passport in Vienna at the American Embassy prior to returning to the United States. The passport states she had resided in the United States from 1909 to 1914. She is the Anna Zakrajsek listed on the passenger list in 1909 on the ship Caroline. She is listed twice on images 501 and 502 and images 521 and 522. Her name is crossed out on images 521 and 522 in steerage.
