Individual Details

James died on the day his son was born. According to a newspaper account Mary had taken ill and James was going to a neighbor's home to summon her mother. When he did not return other's went looking for him. He was found in the road quite dead. (Newspaper's words). They thought at first he had been knocked down, however he was found to have died from congestion of the lungs. -- Diana Parker
