Henry was a Lt. in Capt. J. Bealls Company in the Continental Army during the French and Indian War. He fought in the battle of Loyalhanna. Henry was presented a Tortoise Shell Snuff Box lined with gold by Robert Johnson, a member of Gen. George Washingtons staff. The Tortoise Shell Snuff Box has been handed down from 1st. son to 1st. son and is now in the hands the only son remaining, Paul Prather on Minn.
