According to Judy Baugh -- procyon@prodigy.net, one of his direct descendents, there is no direct evidence to validate this, while his probate records instead mention "widow Martha Prather". - rj

In the copious primary source records I have for my ancestor William Prather, son of Jonathan & Jane, husb. of Anne Yates, in NOT ONE of them is his name shown as William Nathan Prather - it's always just William Prather.
