David [Daniel] M. COOPER
(21 Feb 1802 - 3 Oct 1854)
He was a pioneer of that section of the county where he ingaged in many Indian skimishers and with the wild animanls that roamed the dense forest.
All of the sons of David Cooper were in the Civil War except Thomas B., who was a home guard. Archibald, Robert, Will, Crockett, and Milton fought for the North while John was with the South. Will and Crockett gave their lives to the Union.
