The Webster Hendee Family Tree

The first Hendee, Zebulon and Barbary Hendee, came to Webster, New York (Then Penfield) in 1810 to seek new farm lands a an area to prosper. They arrived in Webster with their 10 children. Some of the children stayed in Webster and others set ou to find even newer possibilities in Ohio. My family comes from one of the people who stayed in Webster where we lived until 1972. Our family began, whith my Mother and Father, to move away. They moved to Bradenton, Florida. My sister Joanne moved to the Catskills, I was transfeered by my company to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Later I retired in Port Saint Lucie, Florida with my wife, Joanne. My brother, Stephen, moved with his company to the Buffalo, New York Area. Webster remains a very found memory for all of us.

For More information on the History of Webster, New York and further information on the Hendee's of Webster, I would suggest going to: http://www.webstermuseum.org/index.php . Click on the "Shop" tab and order the book "Webster Through The Years" compiled by Esther Dunn. Within these pages are many important points of Hendee information. Serious Genealogists may e-mail me for a GEDCOM and links to a photo and files. You may also download a database. However, this is only usable with the genealogy application called Roots Magic.
